How do I make contact?

You can contact Alan Wadkins Ltd Toolstore by Telephone on +44 (0) 1325 464452 by fax +44 (0) 1325 467330 By email at Call in & see us, our showrooms are open between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm GMT Monday to Friday & 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes two, both are well equipped walk around stores so you can take a look, get hold of our entire stock range, talk to our team who are very experienced having been with us for many years. See how to find us maps.

How soon will I receive my order?
All products marked in stock are available for same day dispatch if your order is placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday. Your order should arrive the next day. After 3pm will be most likely the day following, however we will do our upmost to dispatch on day of order. Friday before 3pm will be received next working day Monday, After 3pm Friday will be delivered Tuesday. All International orders should be received within 5 to 10 working days.

Can I collect my order from my nearest store?
Yes you can, however we intend to dispatch from both depots, because of stock availability issues please contact us prior to ordering, so we can advise the stock you require is at the depot of your choice. You may have to visit our alternative depot only 14 miles separate. Then pay online in the usual way.

Can I charge to my account?
Sorry no, all web transactions must be paid for prior to dispatch.

Do you offer multiply discounts?
Yes we do on our selected ranges of products each item you select will give you the choice if available.

Do you have stock?
We have an extensive stock range available for next day delivery, all our products on this site are marked either “In stock”, or “No stock”. It may be “No stock” will be shipped direct from our supplier where different lead times may apply.

How do I know if my order has been accepted?
After placing an order you will receive a confirmation email from us, confirming the status of the order (successful or declined).

Do you deliver to Sites & hotels?
Yes we do, please enter details at checkout. Post code is essential & signature will be required.

What are your postage and shipping costs?
Please refer back to our Delivery section.

What if the product I received is not the item(s) I ordered?
Please contact us ASAP and we will dispatch the correct product for you. Other information is available in our Returns Policy section.

What is your returns policy?

The item I require is not available on line; can you order it in for me?
Yes, we can order stock in that is not shown on our site if it is available from our supplier. Please contact us on or call us on +44 (0) 1325 464452.

The item(s) ordered I have received are faulty, what do I do?
Please contact us ASAP by email or telephone and we will resolve the problem for you.

The item(s) I ordered looks nothing like the goods I received, what do I do?
Please contact us ASAP via email or telephone and we will resolve the problem for you.

Where is my order?
We will keep you fully informed via email on the progress of your order; you can also track your order from the link in the emails we send you.

How do I cancel my order? If you the customer no longer require, or have incorrectly ordered the goods, please notify us within 7 days of receipt, quoting the invoice number. Items must be in original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. We will refund the goods excluding the shipping costs within 7 days. Please refer to our returns page.

I do not live in the UK; can I still order from you?

What currency do you use on your site?
All prices are shown in £'s Pounds Sterling. Any problems please contact us.

Who deals with payment side of the order?
Payments on this website are processed by a third-party secure payment processor provided by SagePay or PayPal. You will be transferred directly to the SagePay or PayPal website upon checkout, where you will be asked to enter your Credit / Debit card details. If there are any problems with your order we will contact you, we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at anytime, and we reserve the right to refuse an order.
